The Android operating system has been widely touted as a platform that can run the latest games and apps from Apple and Microsoft, but the answer is a resounding no.

While there are a few apps on Android that are capable of running Windows and Mac OS X applications, most of the time, Android apps don’t come with any kind of native support for the operating system.

And while Google offers an Android emulator, you’ll likely need to download a custom Android emulator yourself.

So, which operating systems are good for Android devices?
